Pune Traffic Advisory – As the nine auspicious days of Navratri 2024 begin today, residents of Pune will celebrate the festival with fervor and enthusiasm. Many citizens will pay visits to temples, including Bhavani Mata Mandir, Tambdi Jogeshwari and Chaturshringi Mata. Expecting large crowds on the roads, Amol Zende, DCP Traffic and the traffic branch of Pune Police Commissionerate have announced several changes and restrictions to facilitate smooth traffic flow.

Appa Balwant Chowk – The road from Appa Balwant Chowk to Budhwar Chowk will be closed to traffic. Only one-way traffic will be allowed from Budhwar Chowk to Appa Balwant Chowk.
Alternate Route: Motorists should drive from Appa Balwant Chowk to Gadital Statue, then to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road and finally reach their destination.

Bhavani Mata Mandir – Mahatma Phule Road will be closed for traffic in front of Bhavani Mata Mandir. This closure extends from Ramoshi Gate Chowk to Juna Motor Stand. Parking will also not be permitted in this area. Visitors are advised to park on Jawaharlal Nehru Road or nearby streets.
